8 Creative Ways to Meet the New Neighbors

If you moved into a brand new town, or even just a brand new neighborhood, or maybe a brand new street, you may be wondering what the best way to introduce yourself to the neighbors is. Long gone are the days of popping next door with a freshly baked pie or a plate of cookies.

Here are some fun and creative ways you can introduce yourself to the neighbors living next to you, for just a few dollars and a little bit of crafty effort.

Bring over a yummy snack with a funny pun card

Take some s’mores or maybe a bit of popcorn. These are some super easy snacks to put together. Download a cute printable card to introduce yourself with a funny pun that goes with that snack. For example, you could use the pun, “just popping by to say hello” with some tasty popcorn. You can include the line, “we are your new neighbors” on the card and leave your name, email, and address in case they are not home when you come over to introduce yourself.

For a fun s’more themed snack introduction, you can use a pun somewhere along the lines of “we are your new neighbors and we are excited to get to know you s’more.” Even the shyest and keep-to-themselves of neighbors will appreciate a small gesture such as these.
