Snohomish County Homes

Check out Snohomish County Washington!

Snohomish County Washington has seen more of a rise in real estate than just about any other county in the state or even the Pacific Northwest region. In places like Lake Stevens, Arlington, the unincorporated community of Smoky Point, real estate is booming, new subdivisions are popping up all over the place, and people are moving into areas with great school zones and affordable properties. You can buy a brand-new home in Lake Stevens right now for the low $400,000s and existing homes on the lake are starting between $500,000 on up.

Real estate in Snohomish County is becoming the place to be. More and more people are working from home from jobs that are headquartered or based in Seattle. A lot of these telecommuters can simply enjoy the luxury and peace of their own home but still be no more than an hour away from downtown. You can avoid the traffic by setting up an in-home office, which a lot of telecommuters are now doing.

Location

Snohomish County stretches from a Mountlake Ter., North to Lake McMurray, Pilchuck, or just north of Arlington. It also stretches from the Puget Sound East past glacier peak practically to Wellington along Highway 2 and Mansford.

Snohomish County is home to about 830,000 residents and is the third most populated county in Washington state after King and Pierce. It’s also the 76th most populated county in the whole United States and its county seat is Everett. Everett sits right in the middle of Snohomish County but on the Western border between Mill Creek, Mukilteo, and Marysville as well as the Tulalip tribe reservation. Everett is the largest city in the county, home to about 320,000 residents and stretches south to Lynnwood and north to Marysville. There’s a lot of older homes and historic properties in North Everett with beautiful views of Possession Sound and jetty island. There are affordable homes east of Everett in Lake Stevens and Snohomish or find your own parcel of land and acreage out by Machias, Lochsloy, Three Lakes, Forbes Hill, or Snohomish.

Want to be even further from civilization? Perhaps the home out in Granite Falls, Verlot, Gold Bar or Sultan and don’t disregard the little town of Maltby, which is home to the Maltby Café, one of the best breakfasts in the county.

Everett also has Paine Field, which is now offering commercial flights. We have a great flight terminal at the airport offering flights to Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, and surrounding areas. It’s become one of the best and most talked-about commercial upgrades for the Everett area in recent history.

Of course, we also have Boeing. The Boeing plant in Everett is the largest building in the world by volume at over 13,000,000 ft.² and employs over 30,000 people in the Everett facility alone. This Everett facility is the factory where Boeing builds the 747, 767, 777, and 787.
